Hi! I have a Masters degree in library science and a J.D. and worked for many years as a K-5 school librarian in Arlington Heights, District 25.
As a school library media director I exposed students to quality literature, promoted the joy of reading for pleasure and information and shared with my students my extensive knowledge of current and classic grade level novels in all genres and formats, as well as teaching research skills to ensure that students are effective and ethical users and producers of ideas and information.
Currently I work at the Glencoe Public Library in the children's department, part time, still helping kids and families find and enjoy reading adventures.
When not at the library or reading, I love to bike, walk my dog, cook, hike in Arizona and play with my grandchildren!
